Dear Friends and Community Members,
We’re reaching out today on behalf of a dear sister and friend, a mother who is going through an unimaginable crisis. As a group of concerned community members, we’ve come together to help raise urgent funds to support her during this critical time.
In late November 2024, she was involved in a devastating car accident while traveling with her four children. The tragedy claimed the life of her 10-year-old son, critically injured her 4-year-old, and forced her into an emergency C-section while recovering from injuries herself.
As if this weren’t enough, she is now facing two felony charges related to the accident and is trying to cooperate fully with the legal system. She has no prior criminal history and has already hired a defense attorney, agreeing to turn herself in peacefully.
Although she is being charged, it’s important to understand:
- She was not under the influence, was not speeding, and was not driving recklessly.
- The accident occurred at a one-way stop sign expressway intersection, where another vehicle struck her car.
In addition to this, her worst fear has become a reality:
Her ex-husband, who had temporary custody of her three surviving children, recently took them overseas on a “vacation” and has since disappeared, cutting off all communication. She has no idea where her children are or if they’re safe.
This is not just a legal case; it’s a family emergency, a human rights concern, and a call for compassion.
How You Can Help
She urgently needs financial support to:
Pay $10,000 in bondsman fees against $100,000 security (required to avoid being held in jail)
Pay $7,500 upfront for her legal defense (out of a total $20,000 fee)
She’s doing everything she can to navigate this crisis, but she cannot do it alone. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward helping her secure her freedom, defend herself in court, and begin efforts to locate and protect her missing children.
