URGENT Independent Highways Assessment!!
Funds urgently needed to CHALLENGE London Square’s development on Gould and Crane Roads.
Total of the cost to the transport consultant has been reached! Thank you! To cover the cost of Go Fund Me we need an extra £55.
So will keep this open for that THANK YOU!
Thank you for the donations so far ✊
PLEASE HELP!
If you don’t want hundreds of cars adding to the congestion on Crane, Gould and surrounding roads, putting safety at risk on the corner of Crane and Gould Road, please help fund specialist consultants’ fees NOW to review the traffic planning management of this development.
Lorna B, Gould Resident, is organising this fundraiser on behalf of local residents. “I've lived on Gould Road for five years. Our children are in local schools, and this area has always been Twickenham's calm and quiet little nook.”
This is not about challenging the development itself.
We know that housing here is needed, and we are supportive of affordable housing, but it must work within the lives of the current residents who have and still work hard for their homes.
As local residents, we are concerned that the developers are putting profit before safety in terms of the density of the development and the location of the site entrance/exit at the corner of Gould Road/Crane Road.
Neighbour comments on the planning application need to be submitted by 11th October. We are proposing to commission an INDEPENDENT HIGHWAYS ASSESSMENT. This will review London Square’s proposals before the deadline, as we have serious concerns that the safety of pedestrians and road users could be at risk due to the amount of traffic that will be generated at the site entrance/exit at the corner of Gould Road/Crane Road.
Concerned residents of TW2 URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE £1,740 for an INDEPENDENT HIGHWAYS ASSESSMENT and letter of objection.
To review their claims, we must hire an independent highways expert. London Square’s plans are thousands of pages long and include what seems to be conflicting and missing information. And we need expert guidance.
We need to instruct the highways consultant by Friday, 30th September to give them time to submit objections by the Council’s deadline of 11th October for comments.
THIS REALLY IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO HELP MAKE SURE HOW THE TRAFFIC IS MANAGED IN THIS DEVELOPMENT IS FAIR AND SAFE FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS.
Please give now, no matter how small, to allow us to instruct a specialist.
If London Square’s planning application goes ahead without challenge, it will, we believe, seriously affect everyone living on Crane, Gould, May and surrounding roads.
Thank you, and we hope we can reach our goal by THIS Friday 30th September 2022.
