Hi, my name is Kathleen, I live in the U.S. and have been connecting with Mr. President- 009 (Akot Emmanuel) and his mentor and teacher Kamulegeya Isaac @ Raise The Voice Africa since December 2024. Mr. President is one of the 26 vulnerable children under Raise the voice Africa Program. These 26 children are nurtured to different talents. The program has been providing hope and support to many of the vulnerable children in Uganda who face significant challenges and lack basic necessities such as food, clean water, and a safe home. See the Akot’s mentor’s words below -

"Currently, we are fundraising to build a self-sustained home where the children can stay during holidays and where we can grow our own food for them.

Currently, the 26 children stay at school where they study since we have not yet established a home for them, and they don't have anywhere to go. The vulnerable children, will help us discover many more talents from the young generation."

The time is running out that they can stay at the school, and we need to build a home as soon as possible.
