To say we’ve taken some hits the past year is a complete understatement. Unfortunately, the hits have become too much, and we are at risk of losing our housing.
We know so many out there are struggling, and we keep them all in our thoughts every single day. But it’s necessary to call on our village to help us through this one. There is a lot happening behind the scenes, and it’s taking a toll on all of us.
We have reached out to many, many resources given to us, and unfortunately, they’re either not able to help due to funds being depleted, or we don’t qualify for the help. This includes emergency services. We are doing everything we can to stay afloat and save the money, but now we are running out of time.
If we end up losing it, we would have to return to homelessness, and mentally we cannot do that again—nor should Norah have to live like that again—especially now that she’s in school.
We understand this is a huge ask, and believe us—we never wanted to ask this. We’ve done all we can to avoid it all these years. Anything would be a huge help, but we also understand if nobody is able to. Regardless, we appreciate everyone who has stood by our side these last so many years ❤️ We are so thankful for all of you!
