Over the past three and a half years, Brothers Autism Social Enterprise CIC (BASE) has supported autistic and neurodivergent adults across Belfast, Downpatrick and surrounding areas through social, educational and wellbeing programmes designed to reduce isolation, build confidence and create a sense of belonging.
Many of the individuals who attend our programmes have experienced loneliness, poor mental health, limited community participation and difficulties accessing suitable support within their local communities. Through BASE, members have developed friendships, confidence, new skills and opportunities they previously believed were out of reach.
Like many small community organisations, rising premises and programme delivery costs continue to place pressure on our limited resources. While we have secured some funding and continue to actively pursue grant opportunities, we are seeking additional support to help us continue delivering activities and support to our members during this important period of transition and development.
Any donation, no matter how small, will help contribute towards venue costs, programme resources, creative activities, community events and opportunities that directly benefit autistic and neurodivergent adults.
Thank you for helping us continue creating inclusive communities where people can learn, connect, belong and thrive.
Every donation makes a difference.
