Hello Everyone,

My name is Jennifer Barajas, and I am the daughter of Emilio.

Today, July 7, 2025, between approximately 5:45 AM and 6:30 AM, my father was detained by ICE. He had just gone to the AM/PM gas station to get a cup of coffee before heading to work with his boss, doing landscaping which is something they've both done for years. Neither of them has a criminal record.

In recent weeks, they hadn’t been working because of increased ICE activity in the area. This morning was the first time they felt brave enough to go out and try to earn a living again and now they’ve been taken.

My family is devastated. We are asking for help in any way possible to bring my dad home. My mom and our entire family are heartbroken and scared.
