Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,
My name is Mohammed (name changed for privacy), and I’m reaching out during a time of deep hardship. I’m not the kind of person who finds this easy to do, but sometimes life places you in a position where you have to ask for help.
I’ve worked for several years in IT, supporting schools and communities across England. Unfortunately, I lost my job due to redundancy, and despite countless applications and interviews, I’ve had no success in securing a stable role.
To make matters worse, I was recently the victim of a scam that wiped out what little savings I had left. That loss pushed me into debt, and today I’m carrying a burden of £35,000, which has been weighing heavily on me emotionally, spiritually, and financially.
I take full accountability for falling for the scam, but I was in a vulnerable place, desperately trying to turn things around. I share this not for pity, but to give you a full understanding of my situation.

Why I’m Asking for Help:
I am trying to raise £5,000–£10,000 to:
• Cover the most urgent debts and prevent them from growing with interest
• Avoid falling into haram solutions like interest-based loans
• Start rebuilding my life through honest work and halal savings
• Get back on the path to financial and spiritual stability, insha’Allah
⸻
What I’m Doing on My Own:
• Actively applying for jobs, attending interviews, and seeking side work
• Avoiding all forms of riba and haram income
• Working on a long-term plan to build a halal life, including saving for a future home
⸻
Why This Is So Important to Me:
As a Muslim, I don’t want to go down a path that compromises my values. I’ve made mistakes in the past, but I’m trying now to fix things the right way — and it’s hard. I believe Allah sees effort, and maybe this is a test, or a lesson.
If you can help, even a small amount, it means more than you know. If not, please just make dua for me — and share this with anyone who might understand.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan.
