Hello, my name is Jasmine.

I am a single mother of three young children, and I am asking for help to save my grandmother’s home.

I inherited my grandmother’s house in Los Angeles County last August after her passing. This home is deeply meaningful to my family, and I am doing everything I can to keep it. Recently, the property was reassessed by the county, which resulted in an unexpected and significant retroactive property tax bill that I was not financially prepared for.

As a single parent, I am working hard to support my children and manage household expenses on my own. This reassessment has created a financial burden that I cannot cover alone at this time. I am trying to stay current and resolve it responsibly so I can prevent further penalties and protect the home my grandmother left behind.

The bill is due on 6/30/2026, and time is limited for me to come up with the funds needed.
