PURPOSE: Hello friends and followers of Christ! We are starting this GoFundMe for a dear friend in extreme/urgent need! She is a single mother of two beautiful girls who courageously chose to leave an abusive situation to protect herself and her girls. She has been struggling to make ends meet and has fallen behind in her rent here in Austin, MN. She has received her eviction notice and her court date is this Tuesday the 28th.

SITUATION: In recent months, she has had to resort to using the local Facebook babysitting group to find childcare so she can go to work which is a very risky option for her girls. Many people have been flaky and some questionable behaviors have resulted in Jana (real name withheld) not attending work in order to keep her girls safe, which further exacerbates her situation. Although they are understanding, her hours have been reduced to the point of not sufficiently providing for their needs.

Good news is that she now has been blessed to find a reliable and safe young mom who is at home during the day and has offered to babysit her girls free of charge. This will allow her to responsibly attend to her current job and in the meantime she will be looking for a better paying opportunity. The childcare has really been the biggest challenge to allowing her to get ahead.

THE NEEDED MIRACLE: She needs at least $3000 by Monday night to get caught up on her rent (so she has the funds for her court appt.), but we are hoping to raise double that (or more!) so she has enough for the next few months to focus on finding better employment and not be stressed about paying her rent. Perhaps she can also compensate her friend to some degree for helping with childcare. She lives very humbly and does not squander funds. She also has reached out to family and the local government but neither can offer help.

I will be helping with her job search and continue to provide emotional support and friendship.
