For the past 32 years, The Sharing Table (TST) has provided meals and bags of groceries through a coalition of churches and other Harford County organizations dedicated to supporting neighbors in need. Our efforts are 100% volunteer-driven (no paid staff), with many gracious supporters contributing for 5–10 years or more. We are truly blessed by their dedication, both in time and financial contributions.
The Sharing Table’s mission is to serve those in need with dignity. Many of our guests face challenges such as advanced age, medical conditions, low income, unemployment, or caregiving for family members. No matter their situation, they are deeply grateful for the essential support TST provides.
In 2024, The Sharing Table distributed:
• 18,012 meals (weekly average: 347)
• 6,595 bags of groceries (weekly average: 127)
• 4,505 frozen casseroles (weekly average: 87)
Although early, 2025 volumes remain at a similar pace. These numbers clearly demonstrate our volunteers’ extraordinary commitment to helping our community.
Unfortunately, after serving out of Prince of Peace Catholic Church for 22 years, we’ve learned the church will close in June 2025. As a result, TST must relocate. Following an extensive search, we’ve partnered with Edgewood American Legion Post 17. However, their facility cannot meet all our cooking and storage needs, and much of our equipment—like the convection oven, refrigerator, freezer, and storage—is property of the church and will remain behind.
To continue our mission, we urgently need financial assistance totaling $42,000, allocated as follows:
• Storage Shed (12x24): $15,000
• 57 Stone Shed Base: $5,000
• Sidewalk to Sheds: $7,000
• Electricity to Sheds: $3,000
• Refrigerator & Freezer: $5,000
• Convection Oven: $5,000
• Permits/Other fees: $2,000
Your generosity can make a real difference in helping us continue to feed and support our community. Please consider donating today.
