Hello,
I am writing this on behalf of Denver Navarro Pabon. It is Kenny's brother who is currently living in San Cristobal, Venezuela with his wife and baby. Denver began to notice something was wrong with his throat and especially his voice. He went into the doctor and was diagnosed with having giant polyps on his vocal cords. Although these are non-cancerous, they are in a place that will most likely cause permanent damage to his vocal cords and worse obstruct his breathing completely. He is a teacher and is unable to teach as speaking and breathing is becoming increasingly difficult.
Due to the crisis in Venezuela, medical costs are extremely expensive and impossible to afford due to the health care system costs compared with salary. Without monetary help, this surgery will be unlikely to occur and that is very worrisome. We are asking for help to cover surgery costs (1500.00) and the medicine/therapy (500). The surgery is tentatively planned for the end of July, but can be sooner if we can get the funds.
We hope that you consider helping Kenny's brother and getting him on the road to recovery. Any and all donations are extremely appreciated and will go directly to Denver for his medical costs.
Thank you so much,
Jeff and Kenny
