Urgent Help Needed: Family's First Home

Friends and family. We are in a desperate situation and we need financial help. That sentence was the hardest thing I have ever written. I hate asking for help, but I am swallowing my pride because pride isn't going to put a roof over our kids's heads.

Those of you who know us know that Patrick and I both work part time in order to allow us to give our autistic children the support that they need. We have time off from work together once every two weeks and we have made that choice to give our kids the best possible outcome. You also probably know that we are under contract for our first ever home. We were supposed to close this coming Monday.

We now in huge danger of that not happening. In order to make a down payment of "earnest money," we took out a small loan. Now our loan officer is telling us that loan has increased our income to debt ratio to the point that we are in great danger of not qualifying for a mortgage. We are embarrassed and devastated and above all terrified that we will end up homeless.

Please. I know this is a huge ask. The biggest. We need to make the down payment for this house. Help us make that happen. Help my kids, my husband, and me find our way home.
