Hello everyone, my name is Tobi and my family and I need your help!!

Our story

On February 24th, we received a 30-day eviction notice from our landlord. We have till March 20th to be out.

We need to raise funds to at least pay for the first month and a security deposit for a place. Since we got the notice, I have been looking at apartments and we need help with paying for a place.

Unfortunately, I have a lot of trauma around getting evicted/going homeless due to my childhood, so I have not been able to stop and rest because my brain is running wild trying to make sure we do not end up living in a hotel.

I Tobi am disabled and can’t work, despite that fact I have put in applications to try and get a job to help us save to get a place but unfortunately not many places want to hire a person who has a seizure disorder and terrible mobility issues that cause them to need a wheelchair.

My partner has been applying wherever he possibly can, unfortunately a lot of them haven’t reached back out. 

My roommates are currently the only ones that have a job and even if we save what we can, it still will not be enough for first month and security deposit.
