I moved to Costa Rica roughly 10 months ago on a leap of faith. Since then, the journey has been filled with both beauty and challenges alike. Through it all, I've been carried primarily by God, friends abroad, and the kindness of the community here. Starting a new life with no savings and no clear roadmap is incredibly difficult, honestly impossible at times. I am far from home and without the safety net many people rely on. My father is deceased, and my mother is battling serious health issues in a nursing home. I don't have many options to turn to for support. Yet I won't give up faith!

In an attempt to create some stability for myself, my next step is purchasing land. Land in which I hope to offer retreats for women and children. The land will be used as a refuge for myself and for mothers to come and reset their nervous systems. This project represents more than just purchasing land. It represents stability, resilience, and the chance to continue forward instead of starting over.

I know times are difficult for many people, and I don't take asking for help lightly. But I also believe in the power of community; people coming together to help someone stand on their own two feet.
