My name is Nesma Alafifi, and I come to you with a story that intertwines the threads of hope, longing, and the unbreakable bonds of family. Thirteen years ago, I made the difficult decision to leave behind my beloved Gaza in pursuit of a better life for my family. Little did I know then that this journey would lead to over a decade of separation from my loved ones.

My heart weighs heavy as I share with you the dire circumstances faced by my family back in Gaza.

My father Mohammed 67 years old.

My only sister Amal 40 years old

her husband Rami 45 years old

their four children:

Rodaina 20 Years old

Farah 17 years old

Renad 15 years old

Amro 10 years old

they are are trapped amidst the relentless bombardments and scarcity of resources. Their situation is dire, with my sister bearing the heavy burden of caring for her children in a war zone.

My family has endured unspeakable hardship during this conflict. Their home has been destroyed, their livelihoods shattered, and their health compromised. Renad, one of my nieces, faces additional challenges with learning difficulties, making their situation even more precarious.

Compounding their plight is my sister's struggle with high blood pressure, exacerbated by the stress and lack of access to essential medications. The family has been ravaged by hepatitis due to unsanitary conditions and a severe scarcity of clean water and nutritious food. The challenges they face in accessing basic necessities and medical support are immense, with essential services severed by the ongoing conflict.

But amidst this darkness, there is a glimmer of hope - your support. Your generosity can mean the difference between life and death for my family. By helping us raise the necessary funds to secure their safe passage out of Gaza, you can provide them with a lifeline to safety and a chance for a better future.

To facilitate their evacuation, we need to raise $5,000 for each family member to cover the fees required by the travel agency ( YA HALA). This cost is far beyond my own financial means, having already stretched myself thin supporting my family amidst this crisis.I am desperate to relocate my family to safety before it’s too late.
