Thanks to your donations, Khaled will be able to provide warm bedding during the cold winters, protection from the scorching heat of summer in their fragile tent, nutritious meals, and essential supplies to keep his family safe and cared for. Hi, my name is Khaled Tolba, a Palestinian young man from Gaza, born on 16/3/2006. My home was destroyed due to the war, and I currently live with my family in a fragile tent during harsh conditions.
The purpose of this campaign is to raise urgent donations to provide basic needs for my family, including food, shelter, protection, and care for our beloved cats. These donations will help us survive, regain a sense of safety, and allow me to continue my education while striving for a better life away from fear and oppression.
I grew up in Gaza among my family and relatives, experiencing a simple childhood filled with small joys despite repeated conflicts and wars. My father worked as a fashion designer and tailor, and my older brother helped him, while I focused on my studies because my dream was to become a free writer and continue my education abroad.
But the war destroyed everything our home, our memories, our school, and my father’s workshop. We faced hunger, fear, and illness. I took on the responsibility of my family and started a previous fundraising campaign that helped us obtain food, bedding, tents, and essential supplies to survive during the harshest months.
Now, after the closure of the old campaign, I need a new campaign to ensure the safety of my family, protect us from hunger and fear, and maintain our lives in more secure conditions.
I studied at UNRWA schools for 9 years and was always among the top students. Despite ongoing bombing and electricity outages lasting three years, I achieved a score of 80% in my high school exams in 2025.
I have skills in writing, storytelling, organizing fundraising campaigns, communication, community advocacy, resilience, and problem-solving under harsh conditions. I am a native Arabic speaker and B1 in English.
I want to thank every single person who has stood by me and my family through these dark times. Your support has been more than donations—it has been hope when all hope seemed lost, light in endless nights, and warmth in the cold that surrounds us. Every contribution reminded us that we are not forgotten, and that there are people in the world who care deeply for Gaza and for us.
