Emergency Housing Fund for Gene & His Dog, PJ
The Clock is Ticking: Help Gene Find Safety by Friday
My high school friend, Eugene Monico, is a person many of us remember for his kind spirit and quick laugh. Whether we were roaming the halls together, sitting in class, or cheering on the sidelines, Gene was—and is—one of those "gems" you never forget.
Right now, Gene is facing an incredibly difficult reality: he will be facing homelessness by the end of this week. Gene isn't alone in this; he has his loyal emotional support dog, PJ, by his side. As many of you know, finding stable, pet-friendly housing on short notice is a massive hurdle. My goal is to raise enough funds to bridge the gap and get Gene and PJ into a safe, stable living situation before they lose their roof.
How You Can Help:
- Time is our biggest challenge. We are looking to raise $500 to cover an extention to his current housing, and begin the fund for a security deposit and the first month's rent.
Donate: No amount is too small. Even $5 or $10 helps build the foundation for Gene’s new start.
Share: If you can’t donate, please share this link with our former classmates and the local community.
Let’s show Gene that the "bridges" we built in high school are still standing strong today. Thank you for helping me keep this pair safe and off the streets.
