Urgent Help for Parker, Coralee, and Paislee
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out on behalf of Parker, Coralee, and their daughter Paislee, who are going through an incredibly difficult time and need our support.
What Happened
On Sunday, May 25th, Parker was driving with his two best friends to Eagle Lake for a fishing trip when tragedy struck. A high-caliber bullet hit the truck, piercing the door and going straight through Parker’s left knee before lodging in the center console. He was rushed to Aurora Mt. Pleasant by EMS and later transferred to Aurora Summit due to the severity of his injury. Parker sustained a displaced fracture of the condyle of his left femur, and the cartilage in his knee was completely destroyed. He is currently in significant pain and facing a long road to recovery.
A Small Miracle
Despite the damage, Parker’s surgeon delivered what can only be described as a miracle—he does not require surgery at this time. The bones remain aligned, but the destroyed cartilage means he will be non-weight-bearing for at least three months.
Impact on the Family
Parker and his fiancée Coralee—who just graduated from nursing school—are raising their daughter, Paislee, a bright and spirited 6-year-old who turns 7 in June. She’s full of kindness and adventure, just like her dad. Because of her young age, Paislee has been told that her dad was in a boating accident to protect her from fear and confusion. We kindly ask that this detail be respected and not mentioned to her. Sadly, Parker won’t be able to celebrate her birthday the way he normally would, which has been especially hard on both of them.
Financial Hardship
To make matters even more difficult, Parker is not eligible for FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) through his employer. This means he will not receive any income during his recovery. With no financial support coming in, the burden of medical bills, daily expenses, and caring for their family has become overwhelming.
How You Can Help
We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial stress on Parker, Coralee, and Paislee during this incredibly challenging time. Your donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward:
• Medical expenses
• Recovery and mobility needs
• Daily living costs
• Support for Paislee’s upcoming birthday
We are also planning a benefit event in the near future to further support the family.
Thank You
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Every share, donation, and kind word means the world to this family as they navigate the road ahead.
