Hello friends!

Unfortunately my family is taking yet another hit and I’m asking you all for any possible help - either monetary aid or actual medical assistance in Kharkiv.

On Saturday my mom was having a relatively uncomplicated surgery in Kharkiv but it took a possible mistake by a doctor and she has been in Intensive Care ever since then. They are currently attempting to determine the cause and therefore a solution to her state but for the last two days her condition hasn’t improved. We are looking for other doctors or hospitals for a second opinion or simply to find a way to improve her condition.

I don’t know all the details but as much as my Dad told me - she has been having trouble breathing, her whole body and face are swollen beyond recognition and she can only open one eye. She can’t eat or drink at all.

I hate to even write about this, I’d rather keep it private but we don’t have many resources - my parents are refugees and don’t have a steady income. The clinic she’s currently in is a private practice and I’d want to take the financial burden off of my Dad, he’s terrified and stressed enough.
