I am reaching out because my family is being forced out of a home that has been in our family for generations. My sister has made it clear that my kids and I can no longer stay there, even though we have nowhere else to go. The environment has become extremely toxic, and staying there is not safe for my children or me.

I tried to do the right thing by entering a shelter so we could have stability, but I was turned away and removed because they said I had “somewhere else to go.” The only place they were referring to is the same home we were pushed out of — the same place that is not safe, supportive, or healthy for my kids. So we are once again without a stable place to be.

I am a hardworking mother doing everything I can, but at this moment, I simply cannot provide the basics on my own:

* A safe place for my kids to sleep

* Clean clothes

* Transportation

* A room or hotel while I secure stable housing

I am not asking for pity — I am asking for support to keep my children safe while I get us back on our feet. Every donation will go directly toward temporary shelter, food, transportation, and saving for a security deposit so we can move into a stable home.
