I've started this to help my father Mike Saitta, who was recently diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. The tumor was found very large and they can't preform surgery until it shrinks. He's been in treatment since Feb.17th, 2026 .. in and out of the hospital due to complications, being sick or weak, and still continues chemo. He just completed his radiation after weeks of therapy. He is fighting so hard just to stay alive, well and at ease as best he can .. but unfortunately , he has a short time left before the landlord removes him from the rental house I found for him a few years back. He is being forced to leave and is very nervous about where he can go. He hasn't been working, and is waiting for the VA disability and benefits to start which we are unsure of a time frame at the moment . He has no income and since he's not working and nowhere to go, along with my two young sisters that he has cared for as a single father for multiple years. His internet is currently off and he is struggling. My three younger sisters have been taking care of him night and day, which keeps them from even trying to find a job, while also worrying about where to go. As the oldest daughter I always try my best to do my part from far away, and there is only so much I can do being in New Jersey while he lives in Florida. At this time, anything is appreciated. We love and cherish everyone who can help out my guy. The money raised will help me get him into a new place, affordable and smaller by downsizing, and a reliable spot that he can afford from here on out, some money to travel back and forth to chemo and to help him survive until he recovers.. His birthday is also May15th, which I will make sure he is taken care of. I don't ask for much, or help from anyone, only when I need my friends and family the most I reach out.
