For those of you who don't know. On 9/12/24 around 3:30am my family and I woke up and rushed out of our house due to a fire on my neighbor's roof. Initially we thought we would be ok and would be back in our home soon. This unfortunately was not the case. For almost 3 hours we watched our home burn. Once the fire was finally put out we were allowed a few minutes to go in and grab what we could carry with the promise that we could come back tomorrow to gather what we could. The next day we returned to what was once our home to find a demolition crew starting the tear down process. My husband spoke to the man in charge and he informed us that after we left city code's came and deemed our home unsafe and inhabitable and that it needed to be torn down for the safety of the homes that were left standing. So what we thought we had left we didn't. In the initial fire all of my children's belongings were gone their rooms were on the 3rd floor where the fire started. My room which was on the second floor didn't burn badly but we were told that if we stepped foot on the second floor we could fall through the floor. So now my husband and I also have nothing. Some of the things we lost can't ever be replaced and only time will heal all of this. Thankfully my family came out with our lives unlike our neighbor. I say all of this to say anything helps including prayers. If you would like to donate thank you if not that's fine too. But please don't come to my page being negative my heart seriously can't take it right now.

My neighbor's house caught fire last night, which spread to ours. I have 3 kids and now me and my family are displaced. My whole third floor burnt, which took out my kids' rooms. So now I have to get them new school clothes while finding a place to live. Anything helps. I would never do this, but I'm in a bind and I don't know what else to do. Thank you for your help.....

Update: So we thought we would be able to go in and try to salvage somethings. We show up today to try and get some stuff and they are tearing down the house. All appliances, my aunt's blanket chest everything is gone.
