Due to the mother of my child pulling a gun on us and threatening to blow our heads off, me and my son are staying in a hotel to stay safe and to try to get into our own place. My son is 7 years old now, and we are trying to get on our feet after the domestic violence that we suffered. The mother of my child is in jail after she pulled a gun on us. She came back with her mom and her sister 2 days later, assaulted me, and kidnapped my son. I got my son back, but because she was sent to jail for what she did, the apartment manager changed the locks on our shared apartment and locked me and my son out in the middle of winter to live on the streets.
