Hi there, having been the survivor of not one, but two, devastating house fires in my 48 years, I immediately felt compelled to help my friend and colleague, Courtney Hill, when I learned a fire had broken out in her East Elmhurst building on Friday, February 13th, 2026, forcing her and her 2 boys to run for their lives. Thankfully, they are "ok" and with her mother at her home for the time being, but the apartment is completely uninhabitable due to smoke, water, and FDNY entry damage. Courtney will now need to replace everything for her and her two boys. She is a single mother working a second job while she builds a clientele in hairdressing. You can imagine the burden this must place on her already full plate. Can we please dig deep and donate some funds that she can access immediately - not when a possible lawsuit, or the building's insurance decides if or when to make a pay-out? Thank you for your compassion and generosity. I know I certainly was beyond grateful for the generosity of many when I went through my own experience with this, which again, is one of the most devastating things a person can go through, never mind with children.
