Urgent Help for Chris and Snow's Housing Crisis

My name is Chris, and my family has recently been given a 30-day notice to leave our apartment of 4 years so the landlord can renovate it and raise the rent even higher.

We have only limited savings as my spouse, Snow, is disabled with early onset arthritis for which her disability claim has been repeatedly denied because she is 'too young' to claim this disability. In addition, the landlord that gave us the notice raised the rent upon buying the building, draining much of our savings.

While I work full time, the constant raising of expenses means we have been trapped living paycheck to paycheck. I do not wish to ask, but even the cheapest apartment here is well beyond our means to acquire both rent and a security deposit. So I must implore anyone who can to give what you can to help us in our time of need. If you cannot help financially, you can help by sharing this plea.
