Urgent Help for a Mother and 3 Children
Donation protected
Imagine waking up one day knowing your partner — the person who has shared the weight of raising your children, paying the bills, and holding your family together — will soon be gone.
That is the reality for Latavia and her three beautiful children.
Their father, facing overwhelming immigration challenges, has made the extremely difficult decision to self-deport back to Kenya. This is not a choice anyone wants to make — it’s one made out of necessity, sacrifice, and love for his family’s safety.
Now, Latavia is left to navigate life as a single parent abruptly. She must provide food, clothing, and shelter, while also helping her children process the grief of losing their father’s daily presence. The weight is crushing, but her love for her children is unshakable.
Why We’re Asking for Help:
This sudden change means there is no financial cushion. Mortgage, utilities, groceries, school supplies, and basic needs are now difficult to cover on one income. Every day brings the risk of losing more — their home, their stability, their sense of security.
Our goal is to raise enough funds to give this family a lifeline — a few months of breathing room while they adjust to their new reality. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward essentials:
Keeping the children in their home
Covering groceries and household bills
Supporting school expenses so the kids can continue learning without disruption, and their extracurricular activities.
How You Can Help:
Donate whatever you can — every dollar matters.
Share this story with your network.
Keep this family in your thoughts, prayers, and hearts.
We can’t change the circumstances that led here, but we can stand together to keep this family strong. Thank you for being part of their story.
