I hope you’re all doing good. I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart. My aunt in Africa has been suffering from Mitral Stenosis, a heart condition that’s been affecting her for over 30 years. The blood doesn’t properly circulate through her heart, and sadly, her health is declining.

I just spoke to her today, and SubhanAllah, I almost broke down in tears. She urgently needs life-saving heart surgery, and the hospital is requesting 6 million CFA (about $11,000 USD). However, if she’s able to raise 3 million CFA (around $5,500 USD), her insurance will cover the rest. I’m doing everything I can to help raise this amount. Anything you can contribute will help and even if you can’t donate please make dua for her. May Allah protect and guide us all. Jazakum Allahu Khayran .

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter.

Whoever alleviates the situation of one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah will alleviate his lot in both this world and the Hereafter.

Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter.

Allah is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother.”
