URGENT Fundraiser for Cyclone Ditwah Flood Relief Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is facing one of the worst climate caused natural disaster. ‘Cyclone Ditwah’ has resulted in catastrophic flooding and landslides across the country, with more than 486+ lives lost, many still missing, and over 1.3 million people affected. Entire communities are displaced, and families have been left without homes, income, or access to basic necessities.

We have now completed the 'Phase 1' of our fundraiser for urgent relief needs such as water, dry rations and sanitary needs etc. A HUGE thank YOU from our hearts to yours!

However, we are now entering 'Phase 2' of our fundraiser to provide urgent relief needed for families to settle back into their homes, so we aim to provide items such as cloths, furniture, mattresses/pillows etc. Furthermore, our goal is to provide urgent relief for children to get back to school.

This fundraiser focuses on two of the most disproportionately affected groups from the cyclone and access to aid:

1) Estate communities in the Central Province of Sri Lanka.
2) Communities effected in the North, North East and Western Provinces of Sri Lanka.
3) Families of people with disabilities affected by the disaster.
4) Kids, young people and seniors effected by the floods.
5) Animals effected by the floods.

These groups face structural barriers in everyday life, and during a crisis, these vulnerabilities deepen significantly. Many have lost their homes, essential belongings, mobility aids, and access to healthcare or support services.

Our mission is to deliver urgent relief to those who are at immediate risk and who often fall through the cracks during national crises. No one should face this crisis alone or be left behind.

With the generosity of our kind donors, we have raised over 2 million rupees (around USD 6660), please see the projects we've completed so far within the last 7 days:

We are extremely grateful to all the like-minded people who have come together as one family to help those effected from cyclone Ditwah disaster in Sri Lanka.

Now, YOUR support can help restore dignity, safety, and hope at a time when it is needed most.
