We are nearly at the finish line- but we need your help!

HER Africa is a not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to empowering women through knowledge and skill-building, to foster a cultural shift towards equality in communities.

We are building a women-led bakery in Epe, Nigeria, that will provide employment, vocational training, and a pathway to financial independence for women. This bakery is more than a business—it’s a vehicle for real change. It will provide steady income, training, and a safe, supportive environment for women in Epe to thrive.

We’ve made significant progress: construction is complete, key equipment is arriving, and our team is preparing to launch on 24th May 2025. We’re now in the final phase - setting up, cleaning, and getting everything ready to open the doors for our first day.

However, due to unforeseen funding challenges, we are unable to complete the initial production phase needed to operationalise the bakery - and your support is essential.

We need your help to raise AUD $11,536 to support this final stage.

Your donation will cover the bakery’s initial operating costs—including production, overhead, and the women’s salaries—helping it begin operations with the goal of becoming self-sustaining and continuously generating income for women in the community.
