Urgent: Flooding Crisis at Wisconsin Cat Rescue

Tax deductible
Tonight, our worst fear is happening again. Our special needs cat rescue near Milwaukee, home to over 30 rescued cats (many elderly and medically fragile) is flooding for the second time in less than a year.

Last August, devastating basement flooding took the lives of two of our beloved cats. It took months of repairs, cleaning, and rebuilding just to make the space safe again. The cats were finally able to return to their area just weeks ago. And now, the water is back.

This time it is not just flooding - it is electrified water. Jenn and some amazing volunteers are doing what they can, but they cannot safely enter parts of the basement to reach all of the cats. Some cats have been brought to safety, but others remain trapped in a dangerous, rising, electrically charged environment. Every minute matters.

We urgently need help to:
• Cover emergency veterinary care if needed
• Pay for immediate flood mitigation and electrical safety services
• Repair and restore the space (again) so these cats have somewhere safe to live

This rescue has already endured so much and yet they continue to fight for these animals who just deserve safety and calmness. We already have a mounting vet bill for Girlies care and this second flooding is pushing us over the edge...again.

Please, if you can donate, even a small amount helps. If you can’t, sharing this fundraiser could save lives.

Right now, we are racing against time to get every cat out safely.

Thank you for standing with these cats when they need it most.
