The Ridges Family are hoping and praying for a Christmas Miracle! They have 3 children in Haiti that they've adopted, but they've been unable to get these children out of a really dangerous country.
The kids are in a terrible area of Port Au Prince which is currently under gang control. Kori has been able to find a private helicopter transport that will emergency evacuate the kids (ages 13, 9 and 5) to Cap Haitian where they can get a flight to the U.S. and meet Kori and Kedrick in Florida.
Over 4500 people have been killed in Haiti this year just from gang violence and the number one injury being treated in hospitals there is gunshot wounds in children. There was a massacre of almost 200 people there in one village just this month. We really need to get these kids out!
Because they are having to get the kids out in an unconventional way, the Ridges have to pay $2500 per child and an additional escort fee just for the private helicopter ride. This doesn't include their regular airline flights. This is an expense they weren't counting on and don't have the money for right now. Miracles have followed the Ridges through this adoption journey and we are hoping for a few more...above all, safety for the 3 kids and escort as they evacuate Port Au Prince.
Please donate if you can - any amount is so helpful. If you can't donate, please send prayers for the safe travels for these babies. We need to get them home and we are so grateful for your help!
