Urgent: Elliot Needs Legal Help to Come Home

Hello everyone,

For those who haven't heard the story yet, Elliot has currently been kidnapped by [redacted]. Police refuse to get involved because they are considering this a "civil matter" since we already have a custody court ordered agreement in place. I have full custody of Elliot, and [redacted] ([redacted]) has only been getting overnights for less than 6 months due to domestic violence and neglect in the past. [Redacted] has had Elliot since 5/2/25. Today marks a week I haven't been able to see, smell, touch, hear, or hold my baby boy. This is the longest we've ever gone without seeing each other since he was born.

I'm in a desperate situation where I NEED a lawyer due to the TERRIBLE allegations [redacted] is making against me. I would strictly use these funds to pay a lawyer a retainer and be able to pay them hourly to appear in court with me so I have some sort of legal support. Being a single mother and [redacted] owing me so much money in child support- I'm obviously unable to obtain a lawyer without help. The goal I set the amount to also includes the days I will have to take off of work for court since I have no PTO left to use. The only way I'll be able to ENSURE [redacted] is out of mine & Elliot's life is by getting a lawyer. He's traumatizing [redacted] by putting him through this knowing the allegations he's making aren't true just to spite/hurt me- it's absolutely heartbreaking and pure evil. My family, church, friends, & I are worried sick about Elliot & everyone just wants him back home where he belongs. [Redacted] is not only hurting me by doing this but he's mainly hurting [redacted] with verbal & mental abuse & not allowing him to see or talk to his own mother. (Which I'm sure is very confusing for a 3 year old).

If you're unable to help, I completely understand—it's hard times for everyone. Just saying a prayer/sharing this post is enough. If you are able to help, words can't express how grateful I am- all I want is to get my baby boy back home and to make sure this will never be able to happen again.
