Help Leonardo Get Urgent Dental Care

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Salinas, dedicated to helping abandoned and vulnerable cats in our community. Today, we’re asking for help for a cat we named Leonardo.

Leonardo and his two siblings were found abandoned in a parking lot near a field where workers pass through. For nearly a month, he and his siblings struggled to survive on food scraps from the trash. There was no consistent source of water, and all three became dehydrated and seriously ill.

When we were contacted for help, we took them in immediately. While Leonardo is now safe, he is still suffering. After a veterinary consultation, it was determined that Leonardo urgently needs a dental procedure. He is currently in significant pain, and without treatment, his condition will continue to worsen.

The veterinarian has provided an estimated cost of $545 to $2,595, depending on the extent of dental disease and the number of extractions required during the procedure.
