A good Samaritan came across a young cat suffering from what appears to be a severe head injury. The wound looks a few days old and was actively bleeding when he was found.

Despite his condition, the cat is very friendly, which leads us to believe he was once a house cat and not a lifelong stray. He is clearly in extreme pain and discomfort, and it breaks our hearts. We named him Oreo and rushed him to the emergency veterinary hospital. Oreo is now fighting for his life.
