Help Us Save Otis

Last night was one of the scariest nights of our lives. Our sweet boy Otis suddenly became violently ill, throwing up profusely, and we watched in horror as his little body started to shut down.

This morning, we rushed him to the animal hospital where he was immediately placed in critical care. He was severely dehydrated—his blood was so thick they couldn’t even run tests. After receiving fluids through an IV, Otis slowly began to perk up, and his blood was finally thin enough to test. Praise God, he is stable right now, and things are starting to look hopeful.

The veterinarians are recommending that Otis stay in the hospital for 48 to 72 hours to continue receiving fluids and medication through an IV, and to carefully monitor his levels. They believe in the treatment plan and are confident that he can recover with the right care.

Otis isn’t just a pet—he’s our baby. He’s family. If you’ve ever met Otis, you know how special he is. He has brought so much love, comfort, and laughter into our lives and the lives of everyone who meets him.
