Urgent, Aya who cares for many animals needs medical help
Tax deductible
Aya Anosh, an elderly woman in Egypt, has spent years dedicating her life to saving and caring for abandoned cats and dogs in Cairo and surrounding areas. These animals, left to survive on the harsh streets without any government support or sufficient charitable aid, rely on Aya as their sole lifeline. Her unwavering compassion and commitment give these vulnerable animals hope, nourishment, and a safe place to call home.
Currently, Aya feeds and cares for 85 dogs and cats every day. In her home, 20 animals find refuge on the stairs, while 50 cats, including kittens, are sheltered within her apartment. For these animals, Aya’s love and dedication mean the difference between life and death.
Sadly, Aya now suffers from severe spinal problems, which make walking a daily struggle. To continue her lifesaving work, Aya urgently needs an MRI and steroid injections to relieve her pain and regain her mobility. The cost of these essential medical procedures totals 30,000 Egyptian pounds—approximately $616 USD.
Your support can help Aya get the treatment she needs to continue her vital work with these precious animals. Every contribution makes a difference, bringing her one step closer to recovery and ensuring that the animals she cares for remain safe and cared for.
