We are fundraising for Nada, an animal rescuer in Egypt, who, for years, poured her heart and soul into rescuing animals off the streets of Egypt. She gave everything she had—her time, her home, her love—to care for cats no one else would look at. Sick, abandoned, broken-hearted—they found healing and hope through Nada.

She built a small shelter and cared for over 30 cats, nursing them back to health, showing them kindness, and giving them the lives they deserved. 17 have since found loving homes—a beautiful victory in a tough rescue journey.

But the remaining 13 are still waiting. These aren’t just shelter animals. They are her family.

Each one of them is deeply bonded to Nada. Some refuse to eat unless they hear her voice. Others still sleep in the same corner of the shelter they once curled up next to her. And now, Nada is far away—in Bahrain, having relocated due to personal and professional reasons.

Her heart is with them still.

Imagine having to leave behind the animal you raised, loved, and healed... We all know what it feels like to be separated from our pets—even for a short time. The guilt. The worry. The ache.

Now imagine leaving behind 13 cats who don’t understand why you’re gone, who wait every day, hoping you’ll return. Nada never wanted this separation. She’s doing everything she can to bring them home. But the cost of transporting multiple cats internationally is enormous—and she can’t do it alone.

To reunite Nada with her beloved cats in Bahrain, we need to raise $8,000 in 2 months to cover:

Travel crates and flight costs

Required vet checkups, vaccines, and paperwork

Quarantine and arrival logistics in Bahrain

Manar’s heart condition has deteriorated rapidly, and she now requires immediate surgery to install a pacemaker. Without this life-saving procedure, her heart could stop at any moment, and we risk losing a truly extraordinary person.

About Manar and Her Mission:

Manar has devoted her life to rescuing and caring for stray cats and dogs in Egypt. Her home has become a sanctuary for dozens of cats who would otherwise have no place to go. Every day, she provides them with food, medical care, and above all, love. Manar’s tireless efforts have saved countless lives and brought joy to so many animals who had known only hardship.

The Urgency:

Manar’s condition is critical. Her heart has been stopping intermittently, and doctors have confirmed that a pacemaker is the only solution to save her life. The cost of the surgery and post-operative care is beyond what she can afford, especially given her dedication to her feline friends. We need to raise $30,000 to cover the surgery, hospital stay, and necessary follow-up treatments.

Currently, they provide sanctuary to around 80 felines. However, they face a crisis: the shelter's owner plans to sell the property, leaving these cats vulnerable to the harsh streets of Karachi.

But there's hope. We've negotiated a deal to secure the shelter for $17,000, with an initial payment of $2,000 due by mid-June and the rest payable over a year. Your support can make this plan a reality, providing a permanent haven for these cats away from the dangers of street life.

Hello everyone,

Shereen, one of the most devoted animal rescuers in Egypt, never imagined such a day would come. Her shelter — home to around 80 cats — is being evicted. In just a short time, the place they’ve come to know as safety, warmth, and love will be gone.

These cat have already suffered so much. Many came to the shelter abandoned, abused, sick, or starving. Shereen gave them hope. A second chance. A bed to sleep on, food in their bowls, and hands that showed them love. Now, they’re at risk of losing it all again.

They are being forced to relocate — and they need to start from scratch, building new structures, fencing, drainage, safe enclosures, and shaded areas to protect cats from the elements. It’s a massive undertaking, and time is running out.

But their biggest obstacle? Funding.

The cost of moving 80 cats and creating a safe, livable space for them is more than Shereen can handle alone. Transportation, construction, materials, labor, veterinary supplies — every piece is urgent and essential.

Shereen and her workers are heartbroken. Overwhelmed. But not giving up. Because they are counting on us — and we’re counting on you.

Timmy was once someone’s "vacation fun" — a kitten bought on a whim and abandoned when he grew older and needed real care. No vaccinations. No neutering. No idea how to survive on the streets.

He hid under a car for two days, terrified and starving. When he finally came out in search of food, he was chased by dogs — and then hit by a car.

His injuries were devastating:

But Timmy didn’t give up — and neither did we.

He was rescued and rushed to Cairo, where he underwent emergency surgery to remove his damaged eye and begin treatment for his other injuries. Thanks to quick action and expert care, Timmy made it through surgery and is now recovering.

He is just one of many animals given a second chance by our nonprofit — a small, dedicated rescue that exists to help animals no one else will. The sick, the injured, the abandoned — the ones left behind.
