ደብረ ብርሃን ከተማ ከተለያዩ የኢትዮጵያ አካባቢዎች በተፈጠረው ግጭት በግዳጅ ለተፈናቀሉ ቤተሰቦች መጠጊያ ሆናለች። እነዚህ ቤተሰቦች ሁሉንም ነገር አጥተዋል እናም አሁን በመጠለያ ውስጥ ተጠልለው ህይወታቸውን እንደገና ለመገንባት እየታገሉ ይገኛሉ።

ከመኖሪያ ቤታቸው እና ከማህበረሰባቸው ለተፈናቀሉ ቤተሰቦች የምግብ አቅርቦቶች እና የህክምና እንክብካቤ የመሳሰሉ አስፈላጊ እርዳታዎችን ለማቅረብ እና ለመስጠት አስቸኳይ እርዳታዎን እንፈልጋለን። እንደ ኢትዮጵያዊነታችን በችግር ጊዜ ማህበረሰባችንን ለመደገፍ መሰባሰብ አስፈላጊ መሆኑን እናውቃለን።
