Urgent Appeal To Save Tofus Leg

Hi I'm Edwina & I'm trying to raise a minimum of $7500 for urgent surgery for my dog.

Tofu aka Tofi aka Tofipops, my beloved 7 year old French Bulldog has badly ruptured his ACL (cruciate ligament) and is unable to walk or stand properly.

Since then he’s gone from my happy, vibrant little party animal to a sad baby who is genuinely in an awful lot of pain. He is frustrated at not being able to put pressure on that leg & is confined to his bed all day. He is not his usual happy-go-lucky self & he hates that. It’s breaking my heart to see him like this.

We are managing the pain with medication daily & I am carrying him everywhere in a bid to keep that leg rested. This is all we can do ourselves for now but the injury is serious & cannot be healed by rest alone. He needs this surgery as a matter of priority in order to return his usual quality of life.

How the funds will be used:

I have been out of work for 4 months & on reduced income since COVID due to the economy affecting my industry in Australia. We have Pet Insurance but it has a 6month waiting period- Tofu doesn’t have that sort of time.

I don't have children so yes, my dogs are like my babies- corny but true. If you've ever had a pet, you'll understand the love you share with them and how horrific it is to see them in pain, and not be able to tell them that you understand.

I realise it's tough times for a lot of people right now, but if youre able to share even a few dollars, it all adds up in the community to a big difference.
