Issa is 37 years old. He was born in Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza, and studied at Al-Azhar University. After graduation, he started working at Al-Shifa Hospital, one of the most important medical centers in Gaza. For years, he devoted his life to taking care of others. He treated patients, supported families through difficult moments, and was part of a health care system that continued to operate under conditions that were already difficult long before the war.

Today, he is the one who needs help.

Issa is married and the father of two small children: Wadih, who is between 11 years old, and Mohammed, a 10-year-old child. Like many families in Gaza, he was forced to flee again and again with his wife and children in search of safety. Over the past months, they have endured the bombing, displacement, shortage and persistent uncertainty of not knowing what tomorrow will bring.
