Hello, my name is Waseem Abu Safi, I am 35 years old, and I live in Gaza with my wife Amal Nabeel (28) and our little son Qais (4) ‍‍.

Our family has endured two years full of fear and suffering due to the war and blockade. Our area was hit by direct bombings and massive destruction, and we were forced to relocate multiple times, each time trying to protect ourselves and our child from harm ️.

During this war, we lost our dearest loved ones: my aunts, their children, grandchildren, and our friends . There are no words to describe the depth of grief we have experienced, and every day we struggle to secure even the most basic necessities of life.

Even though the war has ended, we still live under severe blockade conditions: no electricity ⚡, no clean drinking water , no gas for cooking , and our torn tent shakes under heavy rain and strong winds ️️.

The funds we previously raised went entirely to cover our basic needs: a safe tent, food for our child, and educational supplies, as prices in Gaza are astronomical ️. Despite all this, we try to protect Qais from psychological trauma and provide him with whatever little education and care we can .
