URGENT APPEAL FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPICE
Asalamualikum,
We would never have known what a children's hospice was until... we found ourselves with a daughter who has a life limiting condition.
Being a parent of a medically fragile child is one of the most toughest jobs in the world, but what makes that job a little easier is having the right support.
Forget me not children's hospice are a locally children's hospice that help terminally ill children and children at the end of thier life, along with bereaved families.
Thier support to us as a family has been invaluable, they have given us respite along with medical support which the NHS cannot provided. They also help siblings of disabled children. The hospice is almost fully funded by charitable donations and recieve almost no help from the government.
Khadeejah is a beautiful cheeky little girl, she has a rare condition, so rare she's only 1 of three children in the UK with this condition, we were told she would not make it to the age of 5 yrs old, and she is just 1 month shy from turning 7 alhamdulilah.
She has been a blessing to our family and has inspired many along the way. Part of the journey has been lightened with the hospice by our side, and we would be devastated if thier services were reduced or closed all together.
Please help thier emergency appeal in which ever way you can, even if its to share with your contacts or organisations that are willing to make a charitable donation.
