Hi. My name is Ghassan. I'm a 4th generation Norwegian citizen. Father for four boys. I'm helping my incredible brother Jamil and his family raise the necessary funds to relocate himself 7 family members to Norway from Gaza.

As I'm sure you know, Gaza is under heavy bombardment, destroyed homes, killed innocent and evacuation has become the only hope that people have to survive and start their lives again, My brother Jamil is 53 year old, a policeman lost his work and income at the beginning of aggressive on Gaza. He and his family displaced from Gaza to the middle in Deir al-Balah city in 10th of October 2023. Unfortunately, his house destroyed after a month of the beginning of the war on 11th November 2023 that was his shelter for him and his family. At the beginning of a year 2024, he and his family suffered from famine due to the closure of Rafah barriers, and still suffering until this moment, and there is no constant income .

In August 2024 until February 2025, My brother's family stayed at a house for tent with bundle 21000$, and until now they have a debt.

In 15th February 2025, they are back to Gaza City, and right now are living in a rent house with 300$ per month, which is too much for their abilities.

Famine is backing to Gaza and they suffering from it again, I invite you to be a part of Jamil's journey to Norway by contributing to this Gofundme.

While he has raised the funds to cover the fees for the border crossing out of Gaza (currently $5000USD/head) there is still an uphill climb to go. This pool of funding will aim to cover living expenses in Egypt while they sort out their Norwegian VISAS, airfare for 8 people from Egypt to Oslo and the costs associated with getting settled in Norway. They are literally leaving Gaza with just the clothes on their backs,

and our support is their lifeline to survival.

I know that Jamil's family will do big things with their lives. He is dedicated to service, to his family, to Community...and most especially to the children.
