Hi, my name is Sam, and my mom is Kimberly Sterchi. In 2024, my mom was rapidly losing weight with tightening in her chest. Fearing she was having a heart attack, she went to the emergency room. In August the same year, she was diagnosed with Squamous Cell lung cancer. After trying chemo for months, she landed back in the emergency room. With the cancer now spread to her brain and various parts of her body, she needs more help now then ever. My mom is a strong, intelligent woman going through a very rough time. Unfortunately, she is uninsured and homeless, only being kept in the hospital now since she has nowhere to go. She is 1000 miles away from me and unfit to travel. We have also attempted to get her into rehabs/hospice, but have been declined time and time again. We really didn't want to make this fundraiser, but we are desperate and out of options. Any money donated would be going towards her wellbeing and housing. Any little bit helps.
