Hi, my name is Borith. I am a Cambodian American who has lived in the United States for more than half of my life. The life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that I have here are far beyond the lives of people who live in a third-world country like Cambodia. Therefore, I cannot close my eyes and ears and pretend that I don’t see or hear the people in Cambodia crying for help.

As conflict and instability continue between Thailand and Cambodia, over 300,000 people are being forced to flee their homes in search of safety. Families have been separated, homes destroyed, and communities uprooted. These displaced people face uncertain futures, leaving behind everything they know to escape violence and protect their loved ones. The journey is perilous, and the need for humanitarian assistance is urgent.
