Help the matriarch of The Fillmore expand the UR Blessings annual TOY & TURKEY giveaway!
UR BLESSINGS is a new non profit founded on a 15 year community effort initiated by Ute Releford, also known as “Mother Fillmore” or “Mama Tay” in the Western Addition of San Francisco where U R Blessings has devoted its efforts.
For the last 15 years Ute Releford has gathered funds from close friends and families and put together a special support initiative for her community of the Western Addition/ The Fillmore, a historically Black neighborhood in San Francisco.
The UR Blessings annual Holiday Hope Initiative distributed over 600 toys through-out the Western Addition last year alone. We currently provide grocery bags during the holidays to an average of 140 families at 7 different housing complexes throughout the Western Addition. Closest to our heart is the support of seniors at Royal and Queen Ada homes where we deliver holiday turkeys and groceries.

This holiday season we are opening our donation pool through GoFundMe and we hope YOU will join OUR family and DONATE to support seniors, children and families in our community here in San Francisco!
Funds raised from this GoFundMe will support UR BLESSINGS Holiday Hope Initiative that
distributes groceries bags and turkeys to families and seniors, as well as toys and bikes in San Francisco’s historically Black neighborhood of The Fillmore.
Your donation will support the remaining African American community in San Francisco most of which has been pushed out by the city’s widespread gentrification, as San Francisco’s living coasts have risen along side the advancing tech industry.
