Family Hit Hard
Hello, my name is Janeé and I am raising funds for a family, that is very dear to my heart.
I’d like to take a minute, to fill everyone in on their unrealistic journey, this last 3 weeks….
On July 10, Casey was in a bad UTV accident, in Arkansas, that left him with a fractured tibia and fibula, in 3 different places. He also suffered a fractured knee, several fractures in his back, 6 broken ribs, and aches and pains, like you couldn’t imagine. Kenzie, his wife, traveled back and forth from Missouri (where they live) to Arkansas, (where he was injured and hospitalized) to juggle things at home, doctors appointments for herself, as well as, seeing and caring for their sweet baby boy, who’s 3. Kenzie was two weeks away from giving birth to their second baby boy, when the accident happened. Casey was transferred to a rehabilitation facility, in Springfield, on July 17. Casey came home July 21 and baby Carter made his way into this world, on July 23. Born perfect, their family was complete. Everyone was finally under the same roof and they were adjusting to their new normal. On July 27, Kyle (their 3 year old son) came down ill with RSV. Baby Carter started sounding congested and running a fever of 101.5 early Sunday evening. Kenzie took him to the hospital, immediately, where nurses and doctors swooped in and started running tests galore. Baby Carter was diagnosed with RSV and meningitis and admitted immediately. Casey started having bad chest pains late Sunday evening and was admitted and taken in for emergency surgery, due to his lungs filling with fluid. Casey will be in the hospital the next 5 days or so, while the fluid continues to be drained off his lungs and Baby Carter will be in the hospital a minimum of 21 days, receiving IV fluids and medicine.
Kenzie and Casey have been unable to work, the last 3 weeks, since the accident, as she has been taking care of Casey, with all of his injuries and needing full time care. The Medical bills are coming in and everyday living expenses and bills, are becoming harder and harder to keep up with. They would never ask for help, so I’m doing it for them. I would like to try and relieve some of their financial burdens and stressors. It would be so amazing, for them to be able to focus solely on healing and getting back home, under one roof.
If you know Kenzie and Casey, you know these two are some of the most hard working, selfless people you have ever met. They are GENUINE and their hearts are TRUE. They would do anything for anyone around them and the world could truly use more humans, like these two! Let’s take care of them, during the toughest time of their lives.
PLEASE SEND ALL THE POSITIVE VIBES & PRAYERS THEIR WAY, FOR HEALING & RECOVERY! ❤️
