Hoops for Hearing
Please join me in making a difference.
I'm raising money to benefit Children's Hearing Institute Inc, and any donation size will help make an impact.
My Story:
I was born hearing impaired which was undetected until I was 6 years old. In First grade I began to wear hearing aids everyday for school but luckily I was able to play sports without them. I realize for most other hearing impaired children this may not be the case and they have to go through more difficult conditions.
I have created this basketball challenge as a way to raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Hearing Institute. Visits to the doctor, hearing aids and batteries are very expensive, funds raised through this challenge will assist Children with these expenses.
Through a 1-day basketball shooting challenge I will raise money for this important cause. Donors will donate an amount for each foul shot I make of the 500 shots I will take on November 27th or 28th (weather dependent). I estimate that I will make somewhere near 350 of the 500 shots . My goal is to raise at least $1,500.
Example Donation Levels:
$.10 per shot
$.25 per shot
$.50 per shot
$1 per shot
$2 per shot
I will post the results of the challenge on November 27th or 28th and donors can then make their donation based on shots made.
I’m excited to see how many shots I can make and how much money will be raised. Thank you for helping me reach my goals and helping hearing impaired children.
