This fundraiser is for a family facing unimaginable challenges. The mother is disabled and caring for her three-year-old daughter who has both dwarfism and muscular dystrophy. They are currently still waiting on SSI benefits and have experienced homelessness while also caring for her five-year-old son, who just started kindergarten this year.

The family has finally been approved for a home located right next to her son Legend’s school — a place he loves deeply and where he is beginning to thrive. This opportunity could bring long-needed stability, safety, and comfort for both children, especially given their medical and essential needs.

However, they must raise the move-in costs within a short time for the landlord to hold the home.
