Janine and I (Alex) are two second-year medical students spending our fall break in Guatemala on a medical mission trip. This will be our second time serving there. During our last trip, we not only gained valuable hands on experience but, more importantly, were able to help local communities access the medical care they needed.

We’re excited for this upcoming trip, where we’ll be working alongside an ENT surgical team spending two days in clinic and four days in the operating room at a local hospital.

While we are covering as much of the costs as possible, these trips involve a significant travel and supply expense. Any contribution you can make will help us bring medical care and support underserved communities while furthering our education and training as future physicians.
